Technology Basics

We focus on teaching seniors how to use technology for their daily needs, including grocery shopping, ordering food, reading new books, or even learning a new language. Using DoorDash, Instacart, etc, we teach seniors simple ways to make their lives easier. We emphasize cell phone basics and help with setup when necessary as well. Also, nearly everywhere we go offers free Wi-Fi. Shopping malls, grocery stores, friends' houses, and even the doctor's office all have their own networks. It is important to understand how to connect to different networks, whether you need to enter a password, or accept terms and conditions. Connecting to internet is not always straightforward, but we address the basics of connectivity.  Our supplementary handouts are also included below.
